Emaka Rollas, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), is currently in a heated argument with Regina Daniels and her mother, Rita Daniels. This is because he recently tried to address the issues surrounding the actress’s troubled marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.
Rollas, in a post on his Instagram page, called out other well-known actors for not speaking out about Regina Daniels’ bad practice. Rollas named Jide Kosoko, Sanni Danji, Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, and Chinyere Wilfred as people who have seen Regina Daniels allegedly using drugs on movie sets.
Rollas said he owed it to himself, the Guild, and the public to convey the truth openly and responsibly about what he called “many allegations, misconceptions, and unnecessary accusations that have been circulating,” according to Saturday Vanguard.
Rollas remarked, “My concern here is not to shame you, No.” about the actress’s drug use. I’m worried that you need aid. The Guild has helped a lot of our members before you, and it was quite helpful. “Getting help is not a crime.”
Rollas, on the other hand, attacked Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita, saying, “If your daughter is sick and her home is in trouble, AGN elections should not be your top priority.” Our Guild needs to be a secure environment, and when leaders openly defend bad practices as “a celebrity lifestyle,” it puts our younger members in danger. “All those people who are telling you to run for AGN President are your enemies.” And all those famous people who know the truth but still blame Emeka Rollas are the Guild’s worst adversaries.
But Regina Daniels quickly criticized Rollas for talking badly about her family, especially her mother, who always praised him.
She posted on Facebook, “President of AGN.” There must be something wrong with you, with all due respect. To state I need help? You shouldn’t talk bad about my family or my mom, who always praised you, but I wouldn’t. Because, as a well-known actor, I saw your inauguration when I was a child and again when I was in my prime. I say you are a disgrace as a president who hops from one post to the next, making money while seeming to care about the performers’ well-being. If not, please tell me why you haven’t done anything to defend actors and their residuals in eight years. The only big change for the Guild is the office you established recently, after seven years, and a lot of people, including my family, who were big supporters, have been very critical of it.
“I’m not surprised because that’s how you get paid: bringing women to my family home several times and taking swimming lessons, which I warned you about, so you are angry.” That’s actually what you’ve always done to the famous men you visit to persuade them to spend money on ladies so you can make more money. What happened to the fatherly figure I looked up to only because my mom respected and cared for you?
“I already know, therefore I can tell for sure that you were paid a small amount of money to talk trash about a youngster who didn’t gain at all from your leadership. Instead, I gave you the greatest honor you have through my ex-husband and mother. You should thank my mother for introducing you to him. I can’t believe you would try to invalidate my mother’s election and downplay all the work she has done for you.
