The Federal High Court in Abuja has ruled Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), guilty on count-1 of the terrorism allegation that the federal government brought against him.
According to Vanguard, the court was satisfied that Kanu made a number of broadcasts to stir up violence and murder in order to push his separatist cause for Biafra.
Trial Justice James Omotosho made his decision based on what he called “uncontroverted evidence” that the prosecution brought before the court.
