Senator Ned Nwoko has spoken out after a video of his wife, actress Regina Daniels, in distress went viral. He called her recent behavior “drug-influenced” and “unprovoked carnage.”
Today, Nwoko posted a long message and a short video on his Instagram account #princenednwoko. He added that the actress was struggling with drug and alcohol usage, which he alleged was the cause of their marriage problems.
“Regina wasn’t always like this. The trouble we’re having right now is because of her drug and alcohol usage.
“I fear for her life and safety if she doesn’t keep up with her rehab program,” he wrote.
The senator said that while he was away, Regina went on a violent rampage at their home, hitting workers and breaking things.
“She assaulted and slapped three staff members in the last 48 hours and broke things like automobiles and windows for no good reason.
The senator said, “Now she has moved to a place where she can get drugs whenever she wants.”
Nwoko said he had given his wife two choices for rehab: Asokoro or Jordan, “where she won’t be able to get drugs.”
He also said that Regina’s friends, whom he called “drug suppliers,” made things worse at home.
“While I was taking Moon to the hospital, Sammy, Regina’s major drug dealer, caused a lot of trouble at home.
He said, “Another known drug dealer for Regina is the little evil devil named Ann.”
His message came hours after a report that a video of the actress, who was clearly upset and yelling during a fight, had gone viral yesterday, causing a lot of worry.
Regina may be heard saying in the video, “I am nothing in Ned Nwoko’s house, but I am a Queen in my own house.” Not again. “I can’t take the violence; it’s too much.”
Her brother, Ojeogwu Samuel Danhillman, who goes by the name Sammy West, also got mad on Instagram and said that Nwoko had attacked his sister and promised to protect her.
He wrote, “I will fight with my blood anywhere a man beats a woman, even if it’s my sister.”
It’s not clear what caused the fight because neither Regina nor her representatives have publicly replied to Nwoko’s claims.
Regina Daniels, who married Nwoko in 2019 when she was 19, has been in the news a lot with the politician and businessman.
People have been talking about and paying attention to the couple’s marriage, which has a 40-year age gap.
The actress and the senator have two kids together.
