Governor Obaseki successfully hosted the world to witness the commissioning of the sprawling edifices of the ultra-modern Secretariat Complex.

He also welcomed accomplished world dignitaries at the spectacular annual launch of the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation Democracy Dialogue, themed “Functional Education and Effective Political Leadership as a Panacea to Africa’s Growth and Development.”

We in the diaspora ecstatically applaud Governor Obaseki’s emphatic, unhalting progressive strides in transforming Edo State into a modern, adorned state of comparative excellence.

The nation witnessed a series of epochal events that elevated the ancient city of Benin to global eminence.

The ceremony saw a cross-section of savvy men and women of finely shrewd intellectual competence, including ex-presidents, governors, ex-governors, senators, assembly members, ministers, diplomats, and traditional rulers.

The event, symbolically historic and abuzz with accomplished professionals, captains of industry, and the crème de la crème of society, attracted academicians that only a world-class, well-disposed governor could gather to actualize the complex utopian scope of an international occasion.

Edos have continuously lauded Governor Obaseki’s efficacious intuitions, as his audacious developmental foresight endeared him to the people as the pillar of ‘Resurgence of Hope.’

The Ighodalo 2024 choice group, alongside the people of Nigeria, congratulates Governor Obaseki for championing an almost 100% national minimum wage increase in Edo State, from the previous 40k to 70k, and for the more than 80% rise in teachers’ take-home pay packages.

We also salute His Excellency for commissioning the ultra-modern Labour House edifice, the Oshiomhole House.

May God Almighty continue to strengthen and support your ameliorating developmental progressions in Edo State, which we have all come to cherish.
