Obaseki’s legacy : 75,500 barrels of crude oil are delivered to two refineries in Edo.
Decklar Resources Inc., the operators of the Oza oil field, and Millennium Oil and Gas Company Limited, their co-venturer, said that they had so far sent 75,500 barrels of petroleum to two modular refineries in Edo State.
According to our correspondent, the two refineries are the Duport Midstream Company Limited (DMCL) plant in Egbokor, Orhionmwon Local Government Area in the state, and the Edo Refinery and Petrochemical Company (ERPC) facility in Ologbo, Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area.
Sanmi Famuyide, the chief executive officer of Decklar Resources, stated that the deliveries are a component of the agreements between the two businesses for the provision of oil for processing.
“Oil from the Oza Oil Field is still being trucked to the DMCL refinery and the ERPC plant, both in Edo State, Nigeria. These are part of Governor Obeseki MOU agreements which has been widely criticised as not working, now EDO people should be proud that their son has been working for the good of Edo state.
