Mother hands over wanted son to police for crime
One of the individuals wanted by the Kano State Police Command today, Hantar Daba, was turned over to the police by his mother.
The revelation was made public today in a statement issued by SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, the command public relations officer in Kano, according to Vanguard.
He claims that Hantar Daba, on whose whereabouts the Kano police command had posted a reward of N500,000, had surrendered to the authorities.
Along with his mother, Hantar Daba surrendered to the police. His former adversary and current best buddy, Abba Burakita of Dorayi, escorted him to the station.
The final suspect, Hantar Daba, who had eluded capture for suspected crimes, has reportedly surrendered to the authorities, according to Kiyawa.
Any individual or organisation with information about Daba should contact the police, according to the police spokesperson.
He did say that Dana had asked to participate in the state’s amnesty initiative.
He added the suspect had expressed regret for his shady past and was prepared to help bring about the state’s long-term peace and prosperity.
Hantar Daba, meantime, is presently being profiled by the Kano State Police Command while in their custody.
Anyone having information about a complaint against Hantar Daba is asked by the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hussaini Gumel, to come to the office of the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) at Bompai Police Headquarters Kano.
