Breaking : Supreme Court sets 2023 presidential election Judgement for tomorrow
Appeal hearings for presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) disputing the results of the February 25 election that elected President Bola Tinubu have been set for Thursday.
Dr. Festus Akande, the Supreme Court’s Director of Information, announced the date today.
On Monday, lawyers for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Liberal Party (LP) defended their arguments before the Supreme Court, while the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and its presidential candidate, Chichi Ojei, had their appeal denied after withdrawing it.
Both Obi and Atiku had their cases dismissed by the Presidential Election cases Court on September 6 for lack of proof, but they appealed.
