Mohbad Investigation : Wanted Man surrenders self to police
Ibrahim Owodunni, better known by his stage name Primeboy, has surrendered to authorities.
The Lagos Police Department’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, made the announcement in an X post earlier today.
Primeboy was reportedly arrested without delay and taken in for questioning and further investigation.
The Lagos State Police Command reassured Mohbad’s loved ones and supporters that they would investigate the case thoroughly and thoroughly.
The Command also vowed that anyone found responsible for Mr. Ilerioluwa Aloba’s (aka Mohbad) death would be held accountable.
Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin, aka Primeboy, has surrendered after being named a wanted man. He is currently being held for questioning and further investigation.
“The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice,” he added.
The Command has issued an arrest warrant for Primeboy in connection with the investigation into Mohhbad’s death and is offering a reward of N1 million for information leading to his capture.
Mohbad, whose given name was Ilerioluwa Aloba and who was 27 years old when he passed away on September 12, met an untimely end.
A number of people, including Afrobeats singer Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry, have been invited by police for questioning in the wake of public outcry and nationwide protests.
In an X post, Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos, revealed that Primeboy had been declared wanted for failing to respond to an invitation to cooperate with the investigation.
