“I Was Approached To Peddle Drugs In Nigeria And Abroad” – Okey Bakassi

3

Okechukwu Onyegbule, better known by his stage name Okey Bakassi, a popular comedian and actor in Nigeria, has said that people have tried to recruit him to sell drugs.

During an interview on Channels TV, Bakassi revealed that he had been approached by criminals offering him a lucrative opportunity to join their organisation.

He also mentioned that drug dealers would approach entertainers in the viral video.

He explained that despite the lucrative nature of the business, he turned down the offer in favour of keeping things straightforward.

When asked about his time as a young man in Lagos, the performer said, “I was tempted by different people in so many ways.” I’m referring to con artists and drug traffickers here.

It was suggested to me. You can expect drug dealers to approach you if you work in the entertainment industry. Drug dealers have tried to approach me in Nigeria and other countries.

They’ll drop by your hotel room unexpectedly to discuss business. They will provide names of others who have adopted this strategy with similar results. But it’s risky to do so.

I want to feel safe from the police and other authorities so that I can rest easy at night. As a result, I’ve worked hard to avoid stress and focus on the positive.
