Breaking News ! TINUBU DEPARTS PARIS TO LONDON FOR A PRIVATE VISIT
The Nigerian president, Bola Tinubu, who had been in Paris but was supposed to return to Abuja today, will instead spend a few days on a personal trip to London.
Today, Dele Alake, the President’s Special Adviser for Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, made the announcement.
He said that President Bola Tinubu had just returned from an official trip to France, where he had “an outstanding participation in the summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.”
Alake claims that the president will arrive home in time for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Moreover, he said, “President Tinubu held high-profile sideline meetings with fellow heads of state and government, global business leaders, and chief executives of leading multilateral and development finance institutions from around the world.
The President was able to project his support for increased fiscal space, economic justice for Africa as the world quickens the pace of energy transition, and the necessity of addressing poverty and climate change on a global stage during the summit.
