The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested four top officials of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) in connection with an alleged N2 billion Duty Tour Allowance (DTA) fraud.

One director and three deputy general managers in the authority were identified as suspects.

An anonymous source confirmed the arrests to Channels Television, adding that one of the deputy general managers was arrested on Thursday and the others on Monday.

The suspects are reportedly being grilled by a team of operatives at the anti-graft agency’s headquarters in Abuja as of Monday evening.

NCAA officials allegedly paid themselves and others more than N2 billion in DTA.
