As early as Seven o’clock residents of Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory trooped out in their numbers to cast their votes in the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Daily Trust witnessed how residents old and young were moving to their polling units.
At the Ward 03 along University road in the area council where over 10 poling units are domiciled, voters could be seen in their numbers.
Also at the Gada Nasko Registration Area Centers (RAC) where some of the materials were kept over night, Daily Trust witnessed many of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ad-hoc staff waiting for vehicle to convey them to their polling units.
Some of them told Daily Trust that the vehicles were not enough as such they have to wait for them to return after going for the first trip.
As at the time of filing this report (9:30) some of them were still waiting with the voting materials.
