Twitter, The American micro-blogging company, has revealed that the app will start to charge almost $20 monthly for verification.
In a tweet on Sunday Musk this stating, “The whole verification process is being revamped right now.”
This announcement is coming after Musk took Twitter ownership last week Friday, as the company plans to raise its optional $4.99-a-month premium subscription called Twitter Blue to $19.99 a month.
According to reports gathered, Musk had ordered engineers to finish building a paid verification system by next week or get fired.
