Osun’s new CP reads riot act to criminals

The newly appointed Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sunday Faleye, on Monday, said there would be no hiding place for criminals under his watch.

 

Faleye, during his maiden interview with journalists in Osogbo, subsequently asked criminals living in the state to immediately relocate.

 

The Ekiti-born police boss, who also told inter-state criminals coming to Osun that they would not be spared, said the Command would leave no stone unturned in riding the state of crimes.

 

He said, “the command will take the battle to the criminals – kidnappers, cultists, drug dealers, traffickers and indeed to their sponsors, procurers, counselors and accessories in and outside the State.

 

“Under my watch, Osun State is going to be a no-go area for criminals as nowhere in the state will be conducive for them to operate.

 

“We are going to roll out all in our arsenal to wage war against all forms of crime and criminality. Consequently, I am using this opportunity to declare Osun state a no-go area for criminals. If you reside here, relocate, if you have been crossing into the state, desist. Else, you will meet your waterloo.”

 

He however assured law-abiding citizens of the state of their safety stressing that the command would do everything possible within the ambit of the law to ensure the protection of lives and property.
