Atiku Unveils His Five Point Agenda

On Saturday,  The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubarkar, for the 2023 general elections took his campaign rally to Benin City, the Edo State capital where he unveiled his five points agenda with the unification of the country, Security for all and economy revitalisation topping the list.

Atiku said, while speaking at the flag-off, “Today we are before you to restate our five programmes’ committed to the people of this country which starts with a promise to unify this country.

“What do we mean by that, we mean we are going to give each and every part of this country a sense of belonging. You will not be excluded in anything. That is why we have been in the battle of unifier of our great nation.

“We promise to restore security and whatever is going to take us to do that would be pursued to a logical conclusion so that you can move day and night, go to your farms anywhere and any time.

“By that what we means is that we will put more policemen on the streets, we will equip and fortified them. Since we have promised to devolve more power to state and local governments, you can also have your local police and also make sure that your local police does not harass you”.

Atiku also promised that if elected president in 2023 his government will send back all eligible children to school and it will be a must that every child must go to school.

“If you remember during the PDP years we established primary schools education and made it compulsory in secondary schools and we were taxing Nigerians to educate these children but this APC government is not keeping to that promise and we promised you that every child must go to school from May 2023.

“The nation’s universities will not go on strike and I assured you by the grace of God I promised you that, just as we promised to revive the economy of this country.
