Edo APC Woman Leader Celebrates Distinguished Senator Remi Tinubu @62
The Edo state All Progressives Congress (APC) woman leader, *Lady Betty Okoebor-Benson* has congratulated Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District on the occasion of her 62nd birthday anniversary.
In a statement released by her office in Benin City, the Edo APC state woman leader showered encomium on distinguished Senator Remi Tinubu for breaking the political class ceiling in the Nigerian political spectrum.
She said,” Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu is a good ambassador of the Nigeria women in politics, as such, we’re proud of her achievements in the Senate. Despite the obvious fact, that, the Senate is dominated by the male Senators, Senator Remi is one of the most active, vocal and visible legislators in the Nigerian Senate”.
She added,”Through her pet projects; Spelling Bee and the New Era Foundation, Distinguished Senator Remi Tinubu is unarguably a reference point in women and youth development in our nation. She is an inspiration to women in politics and a good example for women in leadership and governance.”
“On behalf of the good women of Edo state, I pray for divine direction and guidance for our political amazon, as God prepares her for another political height, she stated.
