Wicked! Woman ties up son, beats him with matchete

A woman at Otor-Udu, headquarters of Udu Local Government Area, on Friday, 22nd July, 2022, allegedly tied up her son to an electric pole and beat him up with a machete, rubbing grounded pepper on the wounds she inflicted on him as a way of discipline for allegedly stealing.
According to a human rights activist, Comrade Israel Joe, who reported in incident, a Facebook follower had called on him to report the incident which he confirmed himself and called on the Ovwian/Aladja DPO, CSP Shaba who swung into immediate action to get the culprit arrested for child abuse.
The woman by name Naomi Esther Batubum is currently detained in the police station while the child has been taken to the hospital for proper medical treatment. (Delta State News Bulletin)
