Inter Milan in talks to sign Romelu Lukaku and Paolo Dybala
Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta confirmed on Monday that the club is in contact with Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku and Juventus forward Paolo Dybala.
“Lukaku and Dybala are our targets,” Marotta told Radio Rai.
“We need to consider financial issues. We are in talks with these two players, and we’ll be happy if we sign them. If not, we’ll consider different targets.”
He also said that the team has agreed to sign Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Lukaku scored 15 goals for Chelsea in all competitions last season, including eight in 26 Premier League games.
He apologised for an interview earlier this season in which he expressed dissatisfaction with his job under Thomas Tuchel and expressed a desire to return to Inter soon.
Lukaku, who joined Everton for £28 million in 2014, returned to Chelsea for a club-record sum in August 2021, agreeing to a five-year contract.
Meanwhile, Juventus forward Dybala will be a free agent when his contract expires at the end of the month. (BBC)
