Panel absent as Anambra PDP Congress fails to hold

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ward Congresses scheduled to hold in Anambra State failed to hold as members of the panel didn’t show up.

Party chieftains and members who gathered at the Secretariat at Udoka Housing Estate Awka were all stranded on Saturday.

It was gathered that the panel members were hijacked by some powerful party chieftains of and holed up in one of the popular hotels in Awka

Virtually all the senatorial, House of Representatives and Assembly members wore grin faces at the Secretariat frustrated the exercise didn’t hold.   (The Nation)
