Edo begins fresh recruitment into civil service

Edo State Government has commenced the recruitment of agricultural superintendents into its civil service commission as part of the ongoing reforms.

The Chairman of Edo Civil Service Commission, Princess Ekiuwa Inneh, urged interested and qualified persons to apply through the civil service commission recruitment portal: csc.edostate.gov.ng.

Inneh assured that the recruitment would be free, fair and merit-driven, while stating the applicants were not required to make payment to any person or organisation, in respect of the recruitment.

She said: “All applications must be submitted on or before May 27, 2022. Candidates must not be more than 35 years of age as at the time of application, and their HND/OND certificates must not be below Lower Credit, while computer/digital literacy will be an added advantage.”

The chairman also described Edo government as an equal-opportunity employer, with each applicant to stand the same chance of gaining employment. (The Nation)
