Odumeje’s church marked for demolition
The church building of controversial Onitsha-based Prophet, Philanthropist and Socialite, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, located at Bida Road Off Creek Road, Fegge-Onitsha, has been marked for outright demolition by the Anambra State Government.
This is coming on the heels of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s drive to clean up the famed commercial city and its environs.
The governor had upon taking over the mantle of leadership in the state promised to clean and restore the glory of Onitsha metropolis.
He subsequently declared April 9 and 10 no movement in the commercial city to enable residents clean their environment.
Odumeje’s church was marked by Anambra State Physical Planning Board (ANSPPB) for obstruction and blockage of free-flow of water at the Nwangele-Bida drainage.
