Premier League updates coronavirus guidelines
The English Premier League updated its coronavirus guidelines Wednesday, according to a statement on its website.
There should be at least four positive cases on a team’s squad for a match to be postponed, according to the updated guidance.
Previously, teams with less than 13 fit players, plus a goalkeeper, had been able to request a postponement.
The updated guidance will take effect Feb. 5.
The Premier League also confirmed that COVID-19 Emergency Measures will be reviewed weekly with the aim of having them expire Feb. 28 at the latest. (Courtesy Anadolu Agency)
