Alaafin’s daughter is UNILAG Master’s best graduating student

The daughter of Alaafin of Oyo, Adedoja Adeyemi, has graduated as the best Master’s student from the University of Lagos(UNILAG).

She received a Master’s degree in African and Diasporic Studies in the 52nd convocation at the University of Lagos on Thursday.

She graduated as the best student from her set after amassing a CGPA of 4.63 (distinction).

With her CGPA, Adedoja became the first to graduate with honours from the Institute of African and Diasporic Studies since its inception in 2017.

Alaafin Oba Adeyemi III also attended the convocation ceremony among other dignitaries.

She shared several photos adorned in the convocation attire and wrote: “Master Degree bagged!! Masters of Arts Degree in African and Diasporic Studies, University of Lagos (with a distinction – Best Graduating Student Institute of African and Diasporic Studies). Alhamdulillah.” (The Nation)
