Barely twenty four hours after a section of Mobil petrol station located along Enugu-Onitsha Expressway was gutted by fire, another petrol station, Jezco, went up in flames on Friday evening.

Confirming the incident, the Chief Fire Fighter in Anambra, Mr Martin Agbili, said: “My organisation has been alerted, and my men are already on ground, fighting to extinguish the fire.

“Yes, there is fire at Jezco Filling Station now. We have been alerted, and our men are on ground.”

News Express reports that Jezco Petrol Station, which boasted state-of-the-art facilities, is owned by a prominent Anambra business man and was opened only few months ago.
