Nigerian veteran actor and lawyer, Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, popularly known as Kanayo O . Kanayo, has revealed the reason why actors rarely eat the food served to them while acting a scene in a movie.
He revealed this in a video posted on social media, stating that in old Nollywood movies, the meals used to act a scene were usually rented.
The actor further disclosed that any actor who eats the food, has eaten out of his paycheck.
“When I saw this meat, I remembered when we started this career in the Nigerian Television.
“This (Food) is props, if you ever eat it, you have eaten your artist fee because it was rented from the canteen,” he said.
