The lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr. James Faleke, has said that the National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stands a better chance to win APC’s presidential ticket for the 2023 general election.

Aside from that, he said the former governor of Lagos State also has the necessary qualities and experience with a solid political structure across Nigeria and the globe to turn Nigeria around if he becomes President.

Faleke, who stated this while empowering over 2,000 youths in various skills and professional acquisitions programme in his constituency, said those antagonising Tinubu’s presidential quest were merely playing politics “when we are supposed to face facts and set politics and sentiments aside.
SIMILARLY, the coalition of support groups for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced that it plans to hold a one-million-man match for Tinubu in Ibadan in support of his presidential ambition in the 2023 poll.

The support groups, which disclosed this at the inauguration of a committee in Ibadan, added that participants are expected from Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti states.

Director-General of the coalition, Akin Thomas, while giving reasons for the choice of Ibadan for the inauguration, said: “Oyo is the only state not governed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the region, and Ibadan is the capital of Yorubaland.

“For this reason, we know it may not be easy but we will achieve our goal. We need to make a statement that this is the man we want in the South-West, hence we must put into it everything we have.

“Ibadan was also chosen to inaugurate the committees to test the commitment of members. This is a very serious business. We won’t rest until after the walk takes place.”
