Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has suspended two officers over unlawful treatment of an Uber driver, Adedotun Clement, during the EndSARS memorial protest.

Recall that a viral video revealed how Clement was being brutalized by LNSC personnel and police officers on Wednesday despite identifying himself.

According to reports gathered, the operatives and supervising officers went through an orderly room trial after they were charged with disreputable conduct.

The two officers directly involved in the assault were de-kitted and suspended for two months.

They will be redeployed to another command of the agency for behavioural evaluation and further reprimand.

While the Commanding Superintendents and the Divisional Commander were suspended for one month; the deputies are to take charge until further notice.
