Farmers, Herders’ Clash Claims 9 in Sokoto

At least nine persons were killed in a clash between Fulani herdsmen and farmers in Gwadabawa local government area of Sokoto State.
As of the time of filing this report THISDAY gathered that nine corpses of victims had been deposited at the morgue of the Specialist Hospital Sokoto.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Sokoto Command, ASP Sanusi Abubakar, did not pick or return phone calls for confirmation.
