The House of Representatives may be on a collision course with the Senate over the latter’s failure to concur about 55 bills transmitted to it for concurrence and passage.

This is as the House has halted any further concurrence of bills from the Senate pending clarifications regarding the actual number of Senate bills awaiting concurrence by the House.

The decision, according to a Daily Independent report, followed the announcement of a bill seeking to establish of the Chattered Institute of Directors, asking that the House concur with it for onward transmission to the executive.
