1) On the 12th of August the sales of forms was announced and aspirants start purchase
2) Sale of forms was put to stop on the 4th of September
3) Aspirants successful did their manifesto on the 16th of September.
4) On the 15th of September aspirants sign peace accord in the presence of the major of Yenagoa city, prominent Ekpetiama stakeholders, DSS, military and parliamentary and other top government officials.
5) On the 18th of September. Just for we to reach the venue of the election we were told that elections has been cancelled, said government gave order that there should be no elections in any part of the state.
The hanger of the youths was, when we were spending our hard earn monies consulting, mobilizing, they never told us such order.
This is just the problem….
The youths of Ekpetiama kingdom are peaceful people.
