The Anambra State Indigenous Lawyers Forum (ASILF) in collaboration with other stakeholders has concluded plans to hold a Town Hall meeting in Lagos.

The meeting, according to ASILF President, Joe Nwokedi Esq in a chat with News Express, is meant for all the candidates for the Anambra governorship elections from all the contesting political parties to address Anambra stakeholders on what they have in stock for the people of the state if voted to power.

“It is not going to be business as usual for the politicians in the state. Anybody who is interested in governing Anambra State must step forward and convince the people on what he or she has in stock to better the lives of our people if voted into the office, and we shall follow it up from there. That is the essence of the Town Hall Meeting, we are putting the candidates to task,” said Nwokedi.

The theme of the meeting is,
“The Place of Anambra State From 2022 and Beyond:
Matters Arising.”

The event which will be chaired by Hon. Justice Chinwe E. Iyizoba, JCA (rtd) will hold by noon on Sunday September 19 at the Civic Center, Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Father of the day is patriot and elderstatesman Chief Emeka Anyaoku (Adazie Obosi), while the Keynote Speaker is Mr. Chukwuka Ikwuazom (SAN), among many other dignitaries.
