BUK promotes 27 lecturers to rank of Professors, 40 to Associate Professors

Bayero University, Kano has approved the appointment of 27 senior academics and 40 others to the rank of Professors and Associate Professors respectively.

It will be recalled that the approval was granted at the university 14th Governing Council maiden meeting led by Senator Udoma Udo Udoma, held on September 6, 2021.

This was contained in a statement signed and released to newsmen on Saturday in Kano by Malam Jamil Ahmad Salim, the University’s Acting Registrar and Secretary to the Council, which said the promotions are to take effect from October 1, 2020.
