FUTO postpones 12th governing council election indefinitely
The Federal University of Technology (FUTO) has postponed its 12th election into the Governing Council scheduled for Friday, indefinitely. No reason has been given for the postponement.
However, we gathered that the university authorities are plotting to compromise the process and bring in their cronies and sponsored candidates.
We further gathered that the state government is allegedly manipulating the processes of the election to pave way for candidates it’s sponsoring for the election.
