Kaduna Electric says it has commenced efforts to restore power supply in Kaduna State, following Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) suspension of its five-day warning strike, Wednesday evening.

A statement by Abdulazeez Abdullahi, Head, Corporate Communication of Kaduna Electric, few hours after NLC’s pronouncement, said a technical team had been put “on standby to restore power supply to all our 11KV feeders in Kaduna.”

“The management of Kaduna Electric welcomes the cheering news of the suspension of the strike action by the Nigerian Labour Congress.

“Our technical team are on standby to restore power supply to all our 11KV feeders in Kaduna as soon as the Transmission Company of Nigeria does the same on the 33KV lines.

“We thank you for your patience in these challenging times and look forward to serving you better,” he stated.
