Group vows to expose sponsorsof bandits, insecurity
By TONY EZIMAKOR, Abuja
A group known as the Coalition of All Buhari Support Groups, and under the acronym #istandwithbuhari, has vowed to expose individuals and groups it claims are behind the widespread banditry, surging insurgency and the general state of insecurity across the country.
The group has, therefore, given the alleged individuals and groups up to the end of this month to track back on their destabilizing plot against the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari or face violent mass action.
Spokesman of the group, Hon. Ifeanyi Nonso Ezedinma, said the Buhari support group has credible information to support their allegation that the rising insecurity was sponsored by disgruntled politicians who are now applying looted funds to destabilize the country and make it ungovernable.
Vowing to resist with the force arm any attempt to stampede the government out of office under any guise the group warned that the over 25 million Nigerians that voted Buhari from across the country cannot stand by and watch as enemies of the state use terror to rush the government out of office before the end of its term.
Ezedinma also has strong for those trying to dismember the country, warning them to desist as he claims, Nigeria is indivisible.
He stated: “We have in our possession some classified information that details some of the plans put in place by members of the opposition to further politicize the security situation in the country so as to score cheap political goals.
“We also have a list of their names from state governors down to political influencers, youth organizations and clandestine organizations under their payroll through which they wish to unleash more terror in some volatile states, especially in the South. We have identified you all, we have your residential addresses down to your villages.”
Ezedinma who said he is Secretary General his group, insists that #istandwithbuhari would rather die than see the administration succumb the ongoing plot.
“President Mohammadu Buhari cannot be subdued, threatened or terminated until he officially hands over power in 2023, and that anybody or any group of persons, no matter who they are, who believe they can use terror, chaos and destruction to achieve their sinister agenda should know that they will have to deal with 25 million Nigerians who willingly, fanatically and emphatically voted President Buhari into the office and will rather die than see anything happen to him or his administration!”
In a statement entitled, ‘Enough is Enough’, the group maintained that President Mohammadu Buhari means well for the country, and urged support for the security forces as they work hard to secure the communities.
“We must isolate these enemies of Nigeria for who they are, and collectively show them that Nigeria is greater than their wicked schemes. We must support our troops and always volunteer information to help keep our communities safe,” Ezedinma urged. (Daily Independent)
