By ADA WODU, Calabar
The Cross River State Police Command has confirmed the attack on the Ekori Police Station in the Yakurr Local Government Area of the state by gunmen.

Confirming the incident to our correspondent on Monday, the Deputy Public Relations Officer of the command, Igiri Ewa, said the police were seeking information on the attack.
“Investigations are ongoing. We will issue a statement on the attack,” he said and declined to give further details.
