Nigeria records 84 new COVID-19 infections, total now 163,736

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 84 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 163,736.

The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Saturday.

“On the 10th of April 2021, 84 new confirmed cases and no death was recorded in Nigeria.

“Till date, 163736 cases have been confirmed, 154098 cases have been discharged and 2060 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

“The 84 new cases are reported from 13 states – Lagos (26), Akwa Ibom (16), Rivers (10), Ebonyi (9), Abia (6), Kano (6), Osun (3), Bauchi (2), Delta (2), Edo (1), Jigawa (1), Kaduna (1), and Ogun (1),” the NCDC said. (Sunday Tribune)
