Treat gunshot victims, Delta CP tells doctors

Delta Police Commissioner Ari Mohammed Ali at the weekend appealed to medical practitioners to treat patients with gunshot wounds without waiting for police reports.
He said the police could be invited for investigation after the treatment of gunshot victims.
Ali stressed the imperatives of saving lives first, adding other issues that can be pursued thereafter.
The police boss spoke when he paid a visit to the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Dr Victor Osiatuma, in Asaba.
Ali, who also visited the Director-General of DSS, Mr. Ademola Adebiyi; Sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Uche Peter Wihioka, Nigeria Navy, Nigeria Airforce, Nigeria Army, expressed a desire for all security agencies to work together for overall peace in Delta State. (The Nation)
