Police arrest five suspected kidnappers, recover arm in Kano
Kano Police Command on Friday afternoon arrested 5 suspected Kano based Zamfara kidnappers at Jaba, Ungoggo Local Government of the state, outskirt of Kano metropolis.
The kidnappers were traced to their hideout by the police after they had abducted 2 people from Zamfara state and kept them in a rented home at Jaba village.
Security sources familiar to the “combat operation” told this tabloid that the criminals included 4 male and a female accomplice.
The sources in a separate chat confirmed that “we stormed a rented apartment at Jaba following an intelligent report, and picked up 5 suspected criminals, while high caliber weapons of war were recovered “
In his reaction, the Kano State Police Public Relations officer, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa failed to either denied or confirm the incident, as he explained that the “operation is ongoing”. (Saturday Independent)
