Operatives of the Ogun Police Command have arrested a 29-year-old teacher, Odugbesan Samson, for kidnapping his eight-year-old pupil, Rasaq Akeeb.

But the victim’s mother, Fatimat Akeeb, reported the incident at Ajuwon Divisional Police Headquarters.
She told the Police further the caller informed the boy was brought to him by somebody and would not release him until payment of ransom.
The Divisional Police Officer, Ajuwon Division, Andrew Akinseye, led a team of detectives to investigate the matter, who discovered the suspect’s hideout.
The detectives later lured him out with part payment of ransom before he was arrested.
