Ondo 2020 Guber: IGP deploys five helicopters, 18 pilots

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu has deployed five helicopters with infra red lights cable of seeing humans and items on ground at dark periods to monitor the governorship election in Ondo State on Saturday, October 10, 2020.

Investigations also reveal that, three of the helicopters are already in the sate since Tuesday, while two are on standby at Force Headquarters,

(FHQ) Abuja as back up for any emergency.

A dependable source at FHQ confirmed that , ” there are 18 pilots deployed for the election. There are 13 in the state, while five are on stand by at Force Headquarters Abuja with the remaining two helicopters.,”

The Commissioner of Police in charge of Police Airwing CP Lalas Danladi is said to have arrived Akure the state capital since Monday, and he is already hovering Akure township with helicopters since Tuesday along with his pilots. (Independent)
