Obaseki takes lead in Edo Governorship election with over 50,000 votes… INEC to announce result soon
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the Edo State Governorship Election, Mr. Godwin Obaseki is currently leading his All Progressive Congress, APC rival, Mr. Osagie Ize-Iyamu, with more than 50,000 votes.
Based on results already announced by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in 11 centres, Obaseki, the incumbent won in eight while Ize-Iyamu won in three.
