Flood washes away 2 children in Lagos

Two children have been washed away in a flooded canal at Oyebanjo Street in Ketu area of Lagos State.

According to Tribune Online, this unfortunate incident happened on Saturday evening.

It also added that the two children were yet to be found as at time of filing this report.

News Express reports that, since the advent of the rainy season, there have been massive floods in parts of some states including Kebbi, Nasarawa, Niger, Anambra, Cross River and others.

The heavy floods have resulted in loss of property and in some cases, lives.
