The Abia State Government has sealed Chapel of Answers International in the commercial city of Aba for violating protocols on COVID-19.

The guidelines violated by this religious body include exceeding 50 worshippers at a stream, not wearing face mask and operating activities.

The State Government had earlier listed these guidelines for worship centres to qualify them run worship services.

Also, the Acting Governor of the state, Rt Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu (Ph.D), had last week organisations who are in the habit of violating the COVID-19 protocols to desist.

He further insisted that the state would not hesitate to visit the sledge hammer on organisations who observe the protocols on the contrary.

The worship centre was sealed by the state inter-ministerial committee on COVID-19.
