Kogi gov, Yahaya Bello refused entry into UK, removed from Buhari’s entourage

The Presidency has withdrawn the plan visit of Kogi governor, Yahaya Bello on the entourage of the President Muhammadu Buhari to UK, as authorities refused to provide clearance for the governor.
Kogi governor was part of the entourage of the President due to leave for London on Friday, but the UK authorities refused to play down the event of November 16 election, were democratic process was allegedly compromised.
Most of the foreign observers that monitored the November 16 election was predominantly members of the European Union drawn from the United Nations and United Kingdom.
The Local and the International observers jointly condemned the actions of the ruling party, APC, INEC and security agencies for compromising the last November 16 exercise in Kogi .
The International communities has protested the actions of the goverrment agencies during Kogi election and promised to impose sanctions on both the players and their accomplices.
The last election was marred by electoral fraud, thuggery and ballot snatching by top government officials and securtiy agencies that gave victory to the current governor, Yahaya Bello of APC.
Kogi governor was turned back from the Airport, as eye witness said he looked dejected after the refusal of the immigration and foreign embassy of UK refusal to clear him for the Presidentiai trip .
