Armed Men Abduct 16 People on Okene – Auchi Road
Some well armed gunmen have reportedly attacked travelers enroute Okene – Auchi road, Achoze, in Kogi State.
The incident occured on Tuesday evening, 17th December, 2019.
One of the victims who managed to escape said the armed men who wore on masks invaded the highway and were shooting sporadicall, succeeding in stopping some vehicles conveying traveles.
It was during the nin-stop shooting that some men of the Civil Defence Corps who had mounted roadblocks some killomiters away rushed down to the scene, an effort which was late as the kidnappers had already left with the victims.
