Breaking: Woman to die by hanging for setting husband’s other wife, 7 children ablaze

A High Court in Abakaliki has sentenced one Agnes Nwefuru to death by hanging for setting ablaze the home of her husband’s other wife.
ABUJAPEOPLE learnt that the fire killed the victim and her seven children.
Justice Uwabunkonye Onwosi in her judgement at the High Court in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State, averred that Nwefuru was guilty of meditated murder and convicted her accordingly.
She said, “Nwefuru Agnes is found guilty of murder and is hereby convicted.
“The term of her sentence is that she be hanged by the neck until she is dead.”
