I Don’t Feel Safe Anymore With Oshiomhole – Obaseki
Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has declared that he no longer feel safe in the house of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole.
Speaking on the attack against his convoy in the Iyamho, Edo residence of Oshiomhole on Saturday, Obaseki said if he had visited the house of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, he was not sure he would be attacked the way he was attacked in Oshiomhole’s house.
Speaking with reporters in Benin, he said it was unfortunate that political situation in the South-South state has degenerated to such a dangerous level.
He said: “We don’t feel safe in the house of the National Chairman of APC anymore. If I had visited the house of PDP Chairman, I wouldn’t have been attacked the way I was attacked in the house of APC Chairman.
“It is really unfortunate that things have degenerated to this extent.
“We will continue to pursue peace. We cannot afford to lose the gains of the last three years”.
